Thursday Blogspotting
No special theme - just some blogspotting:
Everyone is talking about Yuko, the young woman that will pitch in the Japanese pros.
Have you seen this test of strength?
I often feel like this about the teams I follow.
A nice recap of the MLB awards for the season.
Mascots have rules also.
Apply MBA tactics to sports here.
Should there be ties in football?
Today in Sports History
1969 - Pele scores his 1,000th soccer goal
1977 - Walter Payton of the Chicago Bears rushes for an NFL-record 275 yards
1990 - Sacramento Kings have their last NBA win on the road for over a year

Great video. I liked the guy that was curling with his twins, and that cute little kitty that was climbing the guys pants! Did you see how much weight that guy was pressing?! My 10 year old nephew could press more than that! - But hey, everyone's gotta start somewhere, right?
Yeah - better to start off at a manageable weight than suffer an injury! Goals start somewhere!
There should not be ties in the NFL. Rather then a 2 OT they could play for two 1st downs. Offensive team gets two 1st downs they when if not the other team wins. I also don't think its right that once one team scores in OT its over. Every other sport gives both teams a chance to score.
And its good to be back
Yeah - the NCAA football overtime setup is much better. The NFL has had it that way for so long that I think it would take an act of Congress or something to change it.
