Wild World of Wednesday - Lakers Parade Edition
What can I say today except for LAKERS ARE THE CHAMPS!!!!! Although there are plenty of other events happening in sports today I just wanted to bring you video of some of the previous Lakers Championship parades/celebrations to enjoy. So enjoy! I do want to thank all of the generous donors in the city as well for stepping up to help bring us the celebration today. Thank you!

That's great that tax money wasn't used on the parade (at least not directly). Did any of the Lakers players end up donating anything?
I'm not sure if the players themselves donated anything - I'll see if I can find the donor list.
I'm not sure they should - the Lakers organization shelled out $1 million. The players deserve to enjoy it as well - it was their hard work that got it done. On the other hand - it would be a nice gesture of appreciation since we basically pay for them by buying tickets and merchandise. I can see both sides. What do you think?
