Wild World of Wednesday - May 26, 2009
Delayed Result: Okay, I know that Cavs fans will roast me for this one but that fowl called at the end of regulation last night was absurd. If anything, LeBron should have been the one called out. I mean seriously, how blatant can you get? Between that, Kobe getting tripped, and some of the other creative calls I am growing even more cynical and fed up with the NBA.
Still Alive and Kicking: The Dodgers are without Manny but are still number one. Deal with it. Of course, we in Los Angeles are the only ones who get to since the national coverage is more concerned with A-Rod and whatever goes on in Boston. Don't you people tire of one region for baseball? Oh, wait, excuse me - there is a lot of talk about Pujols. I guess we are slowly moving west.
100 Days: There are just under 100 days until the 2009 Homeless World Cup happens in Italy. The milestone was marked by an All Stars match yesterday. Get involved with HWC here

That foul call at the end of the Cavs/ Nuggets game was crazy. LeBron was the aggressor and he had little control/ Did you catch the fan in the stands with that huge drum? Thats team dedication right there. I like watching the playoffs without having a team because I can enjoy it and breathe at the same time.
Though I do agree with the no call that sent the came into over time.
That trip up of Kobe was dirty crazy and uncalled for. The refs have been giving out Techs like candy yet somehow they missed that call. They went back and made it a Tech 1. Charles Barkley said the officiating has been bad and I agree. Did a lot of refs retire or something.
I'm not sure what is up with the refs but it makes the games FRUSTRATING!!!!
