Sunday Sports Warp - April 18, 2009
Wow! How the day flies by. Here it is after 1:00pm PST and I haven't posted yet. Yeah, I almost forgot! Oops! I've been very busy lately to say the least. I'm not complaining though - I am grateful to be working.
Women's Football Talk: Don't forget to listen at 3:00pm PST to Women's Football Talk. They've got correspondents keeping them up to date from around the country on all the latest women's football action.
Go Lakers: So far, so good - the guys are up against the Jazz so far in Game 1.
Go Dodgers: The Dodgers have been doing rather well so far at this preliminary stage of the season. They're hosting the Rockies today at Chavez Ravine.
Today In Sports History

Dodgers won again congrats. If things don't change soon the Marlins may drown everyone in the East. The Nats sent down 4 guys in the bullpen and one catcher. I am so tired of the Yankees getting the call when it obivous fan interference. You can see the fans glove coming over the top. The fielder was in postion to catch the ball. I wonder if they would've called it for Tori Hunter was going for the catch. He makes plays like that all day. And then the camera keeps going the smug lookin fan. I am so out of the NBA loop though I still think best out of 7 for first round is too long. I wonder what team Sheffield (sp) will claim when he goes into the HOF.
Isiah Thompson - love it. I have no idea why anyone would hire him
Do you ever bargain with the Sports Gods. Would you trade a Dodger series for a Lakers win?
The Yankees always seem to get special breaks. I am so over them.
I don't know about a trade - that's a tough one. The Dodgers haven't been to the World Series in a very long time and the Lakers have won many Championships since then. I just can't say.
I'm glad your Dodgers and Lakers are doing well!
Thanks! Let's hope it stays that way!
