Breakers Home Opener Today

It's finally here! Today is the 2009 home opener for the IWFL's Southern California Breakers. The team has their work cut out for them against the Los Angeles Amazons. The Amazons are a new addition to the IWFL this year but have been in existence since 2002. They went 8-0 last season and were the Western Division Champions of their league. Two weeks ago the Amazons completely dominated the California Quake by a score of 32-2 and then the team rested up with a bye last week. The Breakers traveled to New Mexico last week and did some dominating as well against the Menace by a score of 33-0. The Breakers are psyched and ready for the challenge!

Tonight's game starts at 7:00pm at Irvine High School. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 8-12 & Seniors. Children under 7 get in free. Also, military and law enforcement with proper ID get in for only $5. Come out and join the fun!
