The Homeless World Cup Needs YOU!

If you’ve been here before then you have seen earlier stories that focus on the Homeless World Cup. Media & Communications Director of the HWC Kat Byles participated in an interview a few months ago. In addition, two coaches of HWC development teams here in the United States were interviewed last month and some of their success stories were also featured.

Now, the HWC is growing and expanding. This means they need to grow their own team to make this event grow. In a message from Kat Byles she states:

We are looking for 8 very important people to join the Homeless World Cup. Maybe you know some great people that would love to join the team?

As the international tournament goes from strength to strength, the Homeless World Cup Foundation has now been set up to support and develop grassroots football programmes in 75 nations to engage one million players who are homeless and excluded by 2012.

We are looking for all the high energy, talented, ambitious, creative visionaries out there with a passion for football, a passion to make a difference, a passion to build a global sports organisation which is changing the world. This really is an opportunity unlike any other. The vacancies are based in Edinburgh, Scotland and there are a couple of vacancies that can be based in other key cities in the world too.

The current vacancies are:

Homeless World Cup
