Everyone's talking about a Los Angeles vs. Boston series in the end. The Celtics have not put the Cavs to rest yet and don't forget about Orlando. They're nothing to shrug off!
The Lakers are looking good against the Suns but there are no guarantees.
I don't base my loyalties on age even though I would definitely be considered quite old in the NBA. I'm a Los Angeles native and lifelong Lakers fan.
By the way, the average age on the Celtics = 29. Average age for the Cavs = 27.8. Average age for the Lakers = 27.7. They'll be matched up well against the Orlando Magic with an average age of 28.8. Doesn't seem so old to me!
None of them seem particularly old to me either, Apryl, as the "old guys" I had in mind are mid-30s. (Kevin Garnett being a good example. That's nearly 20 years ago for me!) Still, age does cause more of an issue with injuries sometimes... as both you and I are (reluctantly) familiar with.
Just for the record, I'm pulling for the Suns at this point, since they certainly seem to be the underdogs of the four teams left. My Bobcats made played like they were in their mid-40s and hobbled off the scene early. (Although I have to admit that, given their history, that was still something of an accomplishment. Hopefully MJ can find some better "magic" for them next season.)

There are links on this page that have been sponsored as well. A sponsored link is one that has been placed on here in exchange for merchandise or a fee. You'll find these under "Sponsored Links" or "Paying The Bills". Sometimes you will also find posts that are paid advertisements as well. These will be identified as "sponsored", "brought to you by", or maybe even "supported by". At times, I may show an ad for Photo Ball Marker. In the interest of full disclosure, I haven't received any money from them. However, they have been very cool about sending me many PBMs in the past and for different occasions. I am repaying their kindness by putting up their ad. In addition, my readers get a discount from them so why not click it and give a cool gift to someone (or yourself).
99.9% of the pictures and video that are used on this blog are readily available on the internet. Only a small portion have been taken by me or provided by a private party. I try to credit the source but I am in no way saying that these are my original pictures.

Yes, Go Lakers! L.A. versus Boston, L.A. versus Orlando. Po-tay-to, po-tah-to. Go Lakers!
You got that right! Woo!
Old guys win 4-2.
That's all I have to say. As an old guy, it seems important. ;-)
