Wild World of Wednesday - September 16, 2009

While everyone is back to school and starting to think about fall temperatures (except Florida, of course) it is in the high 70s in Los Angeles by the coast and close to 100 inland. When the weather stays warm like this and I know the water temp in South OC is nice enough to not wear a wetsuit I can only think of surfing. Hence, Sofia Mulanovich is in the video today at a spot near me.

Apryl, I am pretty sure Amos Alonzo Stagg was 154 years old when he died. No way he died in 1960.

Of course, I don't remember the 60's or 70's, so WTF do I know?

Yeah, the one source says he was 102 when he died in 1965. He was a seasoned gentleman any way you slice it!

A coach at 98 (or 102)? That's crazy.

I had a dream I was surfing last night. And I've never even surfed in real life. Even in my dream I was not very good!

Ha! We can fix that - you're athletic so it would just take practice.

I dream of surfing often. Unfortunately, I was dreaming of it in a meeting yesterday.

Haha!

Yeah, I'll have to try it sometime.
