Double-Dip Blogspotting In The Surf

One thing I wanted to point out is surf blogs - or the lack of. You'll notice that every sport has an entire army of blogs covering it: golf, basketball, football, soccer, etc. So why no overload of surf blogs? I'm pretty sure it's because surfing enthusiasts are out there surfing and mostly get online to check Surfline and off they go.

Here are a few online surf spots I check:

Oak Foils only has pictures of what this shaper has been up to. That is all it needs!

Transworld Surf is full of information, contests, videos, and so much more.

On Surfari has periodic updates on the surfing adventures of the McIntyre family.

I always check the Surfrider blog that is dedicated to the Marine Life Protection Act.

Do you know of another cool surf site? Tell me about it!

Have a great weekend!

Ah, Surfari. 'Surfin' Safari', album one, side one, song one, Beach Boys, 1962.

No surfing in Baltimore City except skate boards, but I had the long blond hair...

I once watched some folks trying to surf in Ocean City, MD. Notice I said "trying".

Were they having problems with those one-foot Atlantic Ocean waves?

Something like that - it was really amusing.
